The E.L.I.T.E.™ Series, designed for detection and identification of trace explosives and explosives precursors, is field-proven and currently in use with military, police, and commercial security units around the world. There are two main products in the series:
The Model EL100 - detects all "nitrogen-based" explosives like TNT, DNB, picric acid, TATB, RDX, PETN, HMX, mono-nitroglycerin and tri-nitroglycerin, as well as nitrates, including ammonium nitrate, urea nitrate and black powder.
The Model EL100EXO - this kit has exactly the same chemistry as the EL100. However, the EL100EXO does not require an external heat source like the EL100. The EL100EXO includes a built-in chemical heater that is so simple to use that the heating step is virtually transparent to the user. The EL100EXO is currently in service in Afghanistan.
The Model EL240 - detects peroxide-based and chlorate-based explosives like TATP, HMTD, MEKP, and hydrogen peroxide solutions. The EL240 has a pen-like design to protect users' fingers from friction detonation of friction-sensitive explosives.
Model EL100 (and EL100EXO) is the only product sensitive to a broad range of explosives, yet has a low false positive rate, that is reliable, rugged and simple enough to be distributed to every policeman, special forces team, police and military vehicle for on-the-spot testing for trace explosives. Each disposable card can detect dozens of nitrogen-based explosives as well as bromate mixtures. It can also identify chlorate and perchlorate mixtures and HME precursors. The entire test takes less than two minutes. The EL100 is currently in use with TSA, the FBI, US and other NATO forces as well as police and security agencies around the world. It is also used by commercial security for the protection of power plants, cruise lines, and public transportation. The EL100 is known for its ease of use, long shelf life in all operating and storage conditions, robustness, sensitivity and very low false positive rate.

Model EL240-BX - a box of ten EL240 detection/identifications pens for the peroxide-based explosives (HME) such as TATP, HMTD and MEKP. The EL240 also identifies and differentiates the peroxide-based HMEs from chlorate-based HMEs; the EL240 is the only disposable kit that can detect and identify solids as well as liquids (MEKP and hydrogen peroxide solutions). The pen-like design provides protection against static and friction-sensitive HME. The EL240 also has a very long shelf life, is robust and has a very low false positive rate. The ELITE™ detection kits are designed to be used in a variety of conditions and by users of different skill and knowledge levels. Currently the ELITE™ is used by forensics specialists in post-blast investigations, law enforcement and military groups in attack-the-network (ATK) operations, and by security guards screening personnel, passengers, and vehicles for evidence of explosives. The ELITE™ detection kits are available in a variety of field kits complete with ancillary devices, field guides and heating methods
