Our E.L.I.T.E.™ Explosives Detection Technology and search equipment are in use by Homeland Security personnel worldwide.
Some of the applications include screening of vehicles and people at border crossings and during baggage checks using our ELITE Explosives Detection Technology. Our clients find that it’s very easy to train users of the E.L.I.T.E.™ Model EL100 and because the EL100 can withstand temperature extremes without any degradation of its shelf life; ELITE is easy to deploy with roving security guards and border patrol agents.
The Model EL100 is small enough and reliable enough to be carried by every policeman, border guard and customs agent. The EL100 makes possible a networked explosives detection network because it can be distributed to all personnel.
The Model EL100 is also perfectly complimentary to detection instruments and K-9 explosives detection teams. Many of our customers use our kits with bench top instruments to verify test results – especially in testing in response to false positives.
NIC search equipment includes telescoping mirrors and other devices that can used to inspect voids and compartments in vehicles and cargo; bomb blankets can be used to temporarily contain fragments from detonation of explosives devices.
