FFI Presents to the Florida Venture Forum. Field Forensics presented and exhibited at the Florida Venture Forum and was one of only a handful of companies selected to present. Approximately 20-25 of the best Florida-based private companies looking for venture capital funding in Florida will made presentations to a national audience of venture capitalists, investment bankers and private equity investors. Craig Johnson, President of FFI, said about the forum that, “there was quite a lot of enthusiasm generated amongst VC and angel investors because of FFI’s unique and market-proven product, as well as its business plan.”December 2007
FFI’s E.L.I.T.E.™ Included in DOD’s Depoyable Forensics Lab. Field Forensics president Craig Johnson was present at the National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC) for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Deployable Forensics Laboratory (http://www.nfstc.com/news/announcements/docs/DODlab_08_23_07.pdf) developed by the NFSTC. The Laboratory is the result of a partnership between NFSTC and the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to develop a readily deployable forensic laboratory. A similar laboratory structure employed in the exploitation of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), was originally used to support the global war on terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. FFI’s explosives detection kit, the E.L.I.T.E.™, is included as standard equipment in the laboratory and was chosen for its reliability, range of explosives detection, simplicity, and ruggedness.

FFI Exhibits at Bundeskriminalamt Conference for Bomb Technicians and Investigators. Field Forensics exhibited its explosives detection technology, the E.L.I.T.E.™ Model EL100 and EL200 (in prototype) at the BKA Conference for Bomb Technicians and Investigators in Magdeburg, Germany.

ELITE Technology Selected as “Best in Show” at ASIS Conference. Field Forensics exhibited at the ASIS (www.asisonline.org) annual conference and exhibition at the Las Vegasm Convention Center. FFI’s E.L.I.T.E.™ Model EL100 explosives detection card was selected as one of the roughly 27 best products at the exhibition. According to Craig Johnson, President of FFI, “Having the EL100 selected as one of the best products at the exhibition was very exciting considering that there were more than 4000 exhibitors and those exhibitors presented products that included virtually all other methods of explosives detection.”

FFI Exhibits at the IABTI Annual Meeting. For the second year in a row, Field Forensics exhibited at the annual meeting of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators.
