EOD Bomb Suit Series III®
The Series III is the latest model of the fragment protection suits (Bomb Suit) for EOD/IEDD-personnel. It is designed to offer a maximum of protection against fragments (against 17 grain fragment according to STANAG 2920), detonation pressure burns and acid burns while offering the best possible comfort for secure and comfortable use. Built-in communication and video equipment options (hardwired or wireless) allows communication during the mission. The unique design of the Series III is the result of 30 years of experience in EOD protection, extensive and rigorous testing, and, most importantly, listening to the needs of our customers: bomb technicians around the world.
Configuration
- one groin protection,
- one jacket, with hand protection
- one pair of pants, with foot protection
- one spin protector
- one armor plates
- one fragment protection helmet including visor
- one carrying bag, which converts to a rucksack, also unfolds to serve as a clean work area
- various spare parts and accessories e.g. a spare helmet insert etc.
The ballistic pads overlap to allow easy body movement. The outfit can be adjusted in size by variable straps and v-shaped Velcro fasteners. Fasteners at the side of the pants facilitate easy donning. Pockets have been added to carry important items and tools.
Material

Communications
The Series III is available with hardwired communications and spooled comm.-cable, or, wireless communications from Ceotronics, or without any built-in communications. We can easily accommodate special requests from customers who may have particular requirements. helmet ventilation system.

Lightweight Search Suit LSA-4
The Lightweight Protective Suit provides protection from fragments caused by explosives and is designed in accordance with the requirements of STANAG 2920 and IMAS 10.30.
Description
The Lightweight Protective Suit provides protection from explosive device fragments as per STANAG 2920 and IMAS 10.30.
The modular suit design allows rapid donning and removal. The individual parts are fixed and connected by robust elastic straps and large velcro fastenings. Maximum wearer comfort was taken into consideration in the design whenever possible and therefore the LSA-4 can be worn for a long period without fatigue.
Design
The design consists of:
- one protective vest with collar
- one set of blast plates (Torso, Front)
- two sleeves with elastic strap fixing and Velcro fastening
- one pair of trousers overlapping on the sides with Velcro fastening optional
- one fragment protection helmet with visor, or, one demining visor with cradle
