Conditioner 1X™
SPME fibers require conditioning prior to use and reconditioning after each use to remove contaminants and residual sample. Most SPME users are forced to condition SPME fibers in the injection port of a GC. Since SPME fibers can take up to four hours to condition/recondition, using the GC injection port wastes valuable instrument time.
Conditioner 1X™
The Conditioner 1X™ is a patent pending, single channel or 1-port reconditioning unit for SPME fibers. The Conditioner 1X™ is a single-channel conditioning and reconditioning unit that can also be used to clean other types of needles/syringes.The Conditioner 1X™ is far more efficient at cleaning than the injection port of a GC because the unit includes a built-in gas metering valve to control the gas flow. Using the Conditioner 1X™ leaves your GC free to get back to work counting samples.
Conditioner 1X™ Features:
- Single-Channel or 1-port SPME Fiber Conditioner
- Precisely measures and controls temperature from 0 to 350 C
- Operates on 100-240VAC, 50/60HZ
- Temperature controller maintains constant temperature (does not measure time).
- Controller indicates set-point and current temperature.
- The system can be used to clean other types of needles/syringes in addition to SPME fibers.
- External fittings for the flushing gas are 1/8 Swagelok tube fittings.
