Sports & Leisure Security

Large hotels, resorts, casinos, cruise lines and organizers of major sporting events routinely take steps to protect their customers from crime, hooliganism and of course, terrorism.

FFI Tactical offers a varity of solutions to security officers including walk-through metal scanners, hand-held metal scanners, simple trace explosives detection kits as well as narcotics identification kits.  We also offer complete facility-search kits, used by National Guard Civil Support Teams, to search large venues prior to major-events and security lockdowns.

E.L.I.T.E.™ Explosives Detection Kits from Field Forensics are currently used to screen passengers, baggage, incoming parcels, compartments, cabins, hotel rooms and so on. Security personnel also use E.L.I.T.E.™ kits to back-up instrumentation when down for calibration, cleaning, maintenance, or, when positive indications for explosives are given. K-9 explosives detection teams also use E.L.I.T.E.™ for verification of negatives and positive hits by dogs. Unlike other methods of explosives detection E.L.I.T.E.™ kits are always ready.

Our search equipment includes telescoping mirrors and other devices that can used to inspect voids and compartments in vehicles and cargo - we even have video camera systems mounted on extendable poles for search on tops of large vehicles like tractor-trailers.

Security personnel use our bomb circles as a temporary measure to provide protection against possible bomb fragments; the blankets include a safety circle and cover, which one places around a suspect package, parcel, etc. until a bomb squad or other expert response team can remove or disable the suspected IED (bomb).
